Oromia Police College is flourishing a head as higher academic institution to offer various trainings. It was founded as higher academic institution by regulation no. 129/2002 at Adama. Previously, it was uncommon to see many PhD scholars’ staff and very limited numbers of academic courses were offered by the college with hundred students. MA program students enrollment was not exist. Teaching materials for practical work like forensic materials and Administrative offices facilities were also not fulfilled. But nowadays, this College has made spectacular achievements with in short span of 14 years. The College has been reaching numerous mile stones in the past couple of years in line with academic and other related activities: there are many PhD scholars from OPC staff with in national and abroad universities.

 OPC enrolled three MA program courses today at regular and weekend program. In addition, the college has planted ESDA-lite andVSC8000 HS a compact   forensic Questioned Document Examination Forensic. More over OPC built a very comfortable ventilated Administrative office.          Our College has also created website for publication of such innovative out comes in the journal of international repute.  Furthermore, the college had also built one ‘Bura Boru ‘elementary school for community engagement. Team work, Openness and staff development in our campus helps in moving the institution forward.  .

Dear our visitors; While rapid development of technology and complex mode of crime rapidly increasing, Intensive joint action and equipping our staff with the knowledge of new technology is very important. OPC is working with national and international University to tackle the spider web of crime. National Forensic University which is found in India country located in Gujarat is one of foreign university that we began collaboration on education aspect: On line training, scholarship, staff exchange and experience sharing.
